What is the color of the wind?
My first collection of wind paintings, which was also my Master's exhibition, was inspired by the wind's movement and by the things it carries. They are like haiku, minimalistic, with hidden meanings, and fragments of reality.
How can we determine the color of the wind? Is it colored by the landscape, or by the smell of flower petals and fresh grass? It is invisible but always around us.
This collection was the start of my deeper exploration of the abstract paintings, compositions, and colors.
These paintings mimic wind movement. Unexpected details are added to the paintings, such as newspapers, words, crosswords, seeds, shells, buttons, and rocks. Sometimes the wind is as delicate as a breeze, or as strong as the North wind.
This theme persisted in my paintings as I continued to explore atmospheric landscapes and to paint wind, mist, air, movement, and water.
